Yggdrasil Enters Croatia as Admiral Adds Content via Bragg
Yggdrasil has entered the regulated online casino market in Croatia for the first time, launching its games with Admiral through the Bragg Gaming Group. This is another regulated market to be added to the list for the studio’s expansion plans in Europe.

The launch happened on 16th February, where the content portfolio of Yggdrasil was made available to Admiral’s players in Croatia. The games available at the time of the launch include the Vikings series, Raptor, Golden Fishtank 2, Elysian Jackpots, MexoMax, and Holmes & the Stolen Stones.

Paulina Ostrzycka, Yggdrasil’s Client Success Manager, described the Admiral launch as the studio’s first operator go-live in Croatia. She also noted that this country is an excellent fit for Yggdrasil’s content.

Why Croatia’s Online Casino Rules Matter

Croatia has established specific entry points for online casino operators at the local level. The official rules for casino play through interactive channels recognize online gaming as a separate type of casino activity. Organizing such an activity is only allowed for those operators who have at least one land-based casino in the country.

The rules regarding the regulations and technology also impact how new suppliers enter the market. The Croatian Tax Administration has stated that the Ministry of Finance provides the technical documentation and standards for the “internet casino” system. The right of operators to run interactive online casino games will depend on the direct connection to the information system of the ministry.

This context helps explain why new suppliers in the Croatian market operate through existing operators.

Bragg Assists Yggdrasil in Accessing Croatia

Yggdrasil is entering Croatia in collaboration with Bragg. This is a standard approach that many game makers use to access new markets. Here, Bragg acts as the distribution and integration layer that is already connected to operators, so suppliers can plug in once and reach multiple regulated brands faster. Admiral receives Yggdrasil’s games through Bragg’s existing platform setup, rather than requiring a separate integration between Yggdrasil and each operator.

Bottom Line for Operators and Suppliers

The implications for operators are about the reality of regulated expansion. The system in Croatia works in favor of brands that already have local casinos and the technical connections to the finance ministry.

The Admiral launch is an example of how expansion is now about the repeatable path to compliance and integration, not just adding another country to the portfolio. The next signal to watch is if this Bragg-backed rollout is a template for more Yggdrasil releases with other Croatian concessionaires in 2026.
