Stakelogic Ends Dutch Live Casino Output and Consolidates in Malta
Stakelogic will stop streaming live casino content from Eindhoven and will instead rely on its Malta studio. This also means the end of Dutch-language live tables in Stakelogic’s offering, with all tables set to continue in English.

Live casino broadcasts from the Netherlands are not going to take place any longer, and Stakelogic will stop offering its Dutch-speaking game tables. According to the company, the Malta studio is going to be operational, whereas its Eindhoven office is not going to close down. According to the company’s confirmation to CasinoNieuws.nl, this cutback appears to be related to the broadcast segment only.

What Changes for Operators and Players

For the operators, that change involves more than just the language component. Stakelogic is also scaling down the concept of branded tables designed specifically for one casino brand. Instead, the company will use a chroma key setup, allowing one studio to supply different brands by changing the logos on screen.

Players will still see operator branding. However, the product itself will no longer be exclusive.

Why the Decision Matters

Such a decision was explained by the need to cut costs. It may sound like an ordinary business step at first glance. In practice, it demonstrates how fast localized live production can come under pressure when suppliers see more efficiency in centralized studio operations.

Stakelogic had already invested in live capabilities directed at the Dutch market previously. The company’s chroma key studio in the Netherlands was established in 2023 and presented itself as a tool for live table localization. The closure of the Dutch stream production less than three years later indicates that efficiency became more important than local differentiation.

Ownership Context and the Bigger Picture

Stakelogic, a Dutch iGaming supplier, started in slots before expanding into live casino products. In July 2024, it announced an agreement to be acquired by SEGA SAMMY at an upfront enterprise value of €130 million, subject to an earnout. The deal was completed on 28 April 2025, when Stakelogic became a subsidiary of SEGA SAMMY. The final acquisition price was later reported at approximately €125 million after adjustments.

This ownership background does not establish a direct connection between the two events. However, it places the closure of Eindhoven into a broader context of integration and financial management. Whenever a supplier moves from local studio investment to centralized delivery, it usually suggests that scale and efficiency outweigh local customization (unless the operator is willing to bear the cost difference).

This does not mean that Stakelogic will be getting out of the live casino market, nor that the company plans to get out of the Dutch market entirely. What it does suggest is that Stakelogic is scaling back on some of the aspects of its business model that were dependent on localization.
