Sporting Risk Takes the Field Ahead of 2026 World Cup with New Betting Products
Sporting Risk has just unveiled two new betting products: Mega Builder and 5 for 25\. The company announced these new offerings on March 25, 2026, and they are ideal for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off in just a few months. These new products are designed to simplify the betting process for players and have been developed with operators’ needs in mind.

Sporting Risk was built on a foundation of sports analytics and predictive models. They’re the ones who come up with the tools that help operators price and create their betting content, which then gets plugged right into their platforms.

How Mega Builder Works – A Bit of a Game-Changer

A standard accumulator typically includes events from different matches, which makes it difficult to track the bet in real time. Mega Builder works differently. All selected outcomes are taken from a single match, and the player combines a large number of low-odds events within that one match. You can include any of the 11 players from a single team or all 22 players on the pitch at once.

Unlike the classic bet builder, where events can be spread across several matches, Mega Builder ties the entire bet slip to a single match. The bet remains active until the last of the selected events has been settled. This fundamentally distinguishes the product from an accumulator, where a single losing selection closes the entire bet slip.

How 5 for 25 Works

5 for 25 operates on a different principle. It is a pick’em format where the player selects five outcomes and, if successful, receives a fixed payout of 25. There is no recalculation of odds or additional conditions. All operational aspects, including promotion and integration, remain the responsibility of the operator.

Launch Timing

This World Cup is a bit of an oddity. It’s being held in North America and we’re expecting 48 teams for the first time ever. That’s double the number we’re used to, which means loads more matches, loads more betting events and potentially a whole lot more betting action. Sporting Risk let operators know about their new products a few months prior to the tournament so they’ve got plenty of time to get the new offerings up and running.

Andy Phillips, Chief Business Development Officer at Sporting Risk, had this to say about the launch: “We want to make products that simplify things for the player, without sacrificing any of the commercial value for the operator”.

It’s clear that this World Cup is the highlight of the season, and all these new features are part of it.

The Road Ahead

Both products are already available to operators. The fixed-return pick’em format is not new, and its effectiveness largely depends on how user-friendly it is within the interface and how actively the operator promotes it. Mega Builder, with its single-match format, appears to be more unconventional and will need to be tested by the audience. A tournament will provide a true picture of its performance.
