Scientific Games launches Fast & Furious lottery games
Supplier partners with Universal for branded products across US and Canadian markets

Scientific Games teamed up with Universal Products & Experiences to create Fast & Furious-themed lottery products. The deal gives the lottery supplier rights to use imagery and branding from the motor-racing film franchise across multiple product formats.

Players in the US and Canada can now access these games. Scientific Games worked directly with Universal to match the films’ visual style in its lottery offerings.

Tina Hoover, the company’s VP of Licensing, commented on the partnership. “Like one of the most iconic lines from the films says, ‘winning is winning,’ we’re thrilled to collaborate with Universal Products & Experiences to deliver games that bring the excitement, intensity and heart of the Fast & Furious franchise to lottery players,” she said.

Why Franchise Branding Matters Here

Movie-themed lottery products tap into existing fan bases. The Fast & Furious series has built strong recognition over multiple films, which helps lottery suppliers attract players who might not typically buy tickets.

Brand recognition matters in retail lottery. Scientific Games gets instant visual impact at retail counters and digital platforms by using established franchise imagery rather than generic themes.

What Products Include the Theme

The partnership covers seven product types. These include scratch tickets, pull tabs, Keno games, eInstants, draw games, second-chance promotions and Fast Play options.

Each format uses Fast & Furious branding and design elements. The products rolled out across both retail and digital lottery channels in the two countries.

Scientific Games developed the full range through its existing lottery systems infrastructure. The company already operates lottery technology in both markets.

How This Fits Recent Company Moves

Scientific Games completed several major projects this quarter. In October, the supplier finished a two-year systems overhaul for Lotto New Zealand, upgrading operations at over 1,100 retail outlets. A similar modernisation project wrapped up in North Dakota shortly after.

The company also extended its Ohio Lottery partnership for another 10 years last month. That deal continues a relationship that’s already lasted a decade.

Evoplay integrated Scientific Games’ Content Hub into its online lottery options just last week, and back in May 2025, Scientific Games became one of the first lottery suppliers licensed in the UAE’s newly regulated market.

The Fast & Furious launch adds branded content to Scientific Games’ portfolio during a period of technical upgrades and market expansion.
