Pragmatic Play extended its partnership with DoradoBet last week. The deal brings the supplier’s Smart Studio product to Peru for the first time.
DoradoBet operates multiple gambling sites in the country. The operator has worked with Pragmatic Play for its standard live casino content since 2023.
This marks the second phase of their partnership. Smart Studio offers something different from basic live dealer tables, it lets operators build branded casino environments that match their specific needs.
Why Customisation Matters in Latin America
Smart Studio addresses a growing problem for operators in regulated markets. They need ways to stand out when competitors offer similar game libraries.
The product solves this through flexible design tools. Operators can change table layouts, backgrounds, and dealer presentation to match their brand identity. It’s not just aesthetic, these changes help reinforce brand recognition while players are actively gambling.
Latin American operators face intense competition. Markets like Peru have multiple licensed operators fighting for the same player base. Generic live casino offerings don’t cut it anymore.
Victor Arias from ARRISE (which powers Pragmatic Play) said the solution “continues to gain strong traction across Latin America.” Demand for customizable environments is increasing as operators look for differentiation tools.
What Smart Studio Actually Does
The platform gives operators control over their live casino presentation. DoradoBet can now design custom studio spaces that look distinctly different from competitors using the same supplier.
Configuration options include visual elements and localised features. Tables can be branded with operator logos and colours. Dealers can be positioned differently. Even the interface elements can be adjusted.
But it’s still Pragmatic Play’s games underneath. The RNG and game mechanics stay the same, only the wrapping changes.
DoradoBet CEO Augusto Pflucker called it “a new chapter in our partnership.” He said the tools will help “build a standout live casino experience in Peru.”
How This Changes Peru’s Live Casino Scene
DoradoBet now has something other Peruvian operators don’t. At least not yet.
The technology gives them a competitive edge in the country’s live dealer segment. Players get a more immersive experience that feels unique to DoradoBet’s brand.
Pragmatic Play keeps expanding across Latin America. The supplier recently secured sportsbook certification in Brazil, showing its commitment to regulated markets in the region. Smart Studio launches are part of a broader strategy to dominate Latin American live casino supply.
Other Peru operators might need to respond. If DoradoBet’s custom studios prove successful, competitors could demand similar solutions from their own suppliers.
