Inspired Entertainment just launched its iGaming portfolio in West Virginia. The move marks the supplier’s fifth North American state. They’re already live in Ontario, New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
CEO Brooks Pierce announced the expansion yesterday. He emphasised the company’s focus on reaching more players across the continent. West Virginia operators can now offer Inspired’s full content library to local players.
The supplier operates in roughly 35 jurisdictions globally. This latest launch strengthens their position in regulated US markets.
Why West Virginia matters for Inspired’s strategy
Inspired called this a “significant milestone” in its growth plans. The company built its expansion around responsible gaming and player engagement principles.
West Virginia adds another regulated market to Inspired’s footprint. More states mean more potential revenue from existing content. The supplier doesn’t need to create new games – just secure approvals and partnerships.
Regional expansion also helps Inspired compete with larger rivals. Companies like Evolution and Pragmatic Play already have strong US positions. Every new state helps close that gap.
What games West Virginia players can access
Big Piggy Bank and Wolf It Up lead Inspired’s initial West Virginia lineup. Both titles performed well in other markets before this launch.
The portfolio includes slots and other casino content developed specifically for online play. Inspired originally expanded its FanDuel partnership in September 2023 to enter these North American markets. That deal provided the foundation for this week’s West Virginia debut.
Players access the games through licensed operators in the state. Inspired supplies the content while operators handle player accounts and transactions.
How virtual sports fit Inspired’s broader push
Inspired isn’t just focused on casino content. The company partnered with bet365 in August to launch Virtual Sports products. V-Play NHL, NBA Re-Play and Re-Play eSports all went live through that deal.
These virtual titles use official league licenses and team logos. The NHL and NBA products feature real teams and branding. Re-Play eSports covers competitive video gaming instead.
Virtual sports represent a “growing suite” of North American products for Inspired, according to the company. They offer betting on simulated matches that run continuously. This gives operators another content category beyond traditional sports betting.
The bet365 partnership shows Inspired’s multi-product strategy. Casino games in some states, virtual sports in others. Sometimes both. Each partnership opens doors to expand the relationship later.
